I went home trying to figure out what was the inspiring story for today.... I have decided to tell you about my habit of writing my things to-do in a small-hand-pocket notes. (My husband always teases me by saying, in the advance and digital world of technology, I am still using my conventional note pad besides my cellphone. Anyway, that is not the main point of this story).
Coming back to the story.....
I started to write my things to do since I saw my dad, during the time of waiting for my 5th grade school report given by my teacher, he always seemed to think about something and write down in his note pad. I remembered asking him what he was doing, and he answered me that he always write down everything to ensure himself not to forget important things.
Since then, I follow him writing down my tasks for the day. If I was able to accomplish the task, then I thick to mark it as done. If not, then I cross to mark it as undone, and write it again in the next page for tomorrow's task to do. And here am, after thirty one years, i still have the habit, that always help me in keeping track on my tasks. Crossing does not mean giving up, it just means I need one more day to accomplish my task. I never get bored or depressed if I can not fulfill any task for the day.
I have many different lists to do. I may have something to do for my husband, or for my parent, or for my brother or sister, for my children, for my staffs, for my friends, for my clients or for my organization.
Today I realized, I have managed to clear up some important tasks. I noticed that persistence is the key for this success.

Saya punya kebiasaan yang seperti itu Mbak (tapi sekarang udah jarang saya lakukan). Nulis di buku kecil. Nggak tahu ya, kok rasanya sekarang saya manja. Kalo mau nulis harus di depan monitor. Padahal dulunya nggak. Saya bisa menulis di mana saja.
BalasHapusKetekunan adalah kunci keberhasilan, saya sepemikiran. Istilahnya, setia pada proses..
